The story

Ring in 2027 with the whole family—even if bedtime is hours before midnight. Hosted by Mallow the Bear, Clover the Bunny, Hazel the Owl and Finn the Fox, this printable New Year's Eve bundle turns the evening into an hourly countdown where pre-readers (ages 4-6) and older siblings (ages 6-10) can celebrate side by side.

Every countdown bag tag prints both schedules—an Early "Kids' Midnight" track (5:00 PM to 9:00 PM) and a Classic Midnight track (8:00 PM to 12:00 AM)—plus a blank line if you want to run a Noon Year's Eve or your own times.

Built for a relaxed family night

You can tape the 8 tags onto paper bags or envelopes in about 10 minutes, or skip the bags and stack the activity cards right on the coffee table. The 6-page Grown-Up Guide & Caller Pack includes a dual schedule table, four bingo winning patterns, a game-length table, a 1-Page No-Cut Caller Board and 30 cut-out calling cards.

The whole pack uses a secular winter celebration theme with no alcohol or champagne references and no fireworks or sparklers. Every game card has a safety note for the grown-up, and balloon games need adult supervision (uninflated or popped balloons are a choking hazard for children under 8).

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Pick your schedule & print

    Choose the 5:00-9:00 PM Early Kids' Midnight schedule, the 8:00 PM-Midnight schedule, or write in your own times, then print the pages you want in color or B&W.

  2. Step 2

    Prep bags or play from the table

    Tape the 8 countdown tags onto paper bags and slip an activity card inside each one (about 10 minutes), or stack the uncut cards on the table.

  3. Step 3

    Open a bag every hour

    Play the hourly activities, run 60-second Minute Challenges, fill in the 2026/2027 Time Capsule and play 40-card NYE Picture Bingo together.

  4. Step 4

    Count down 10 to 1!

    Color the Kids' Midnight Clock, count down from 10 to 1, toss large paper confetti and sign everyone's Midnight Crew Certificate.

What if my kids go to bed before midnight?

Every countdown bag tag and activity card prints two schedules side by side: an Early "Kids' Midnight" schedule from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a Classic Midnight schedule from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, plus a blank custom time line for Noon Year's Eve.

Can 4-year-olds and older siblings play Bingo together?

Yes. The 20 3x3 picture-only cards (ages 4-6) and the 20 5x5 picture + word cards (ages 5-10) use the exact same 30 New Year pictures, so one caller runs the game for everyone at once.

Do I need scissors or paper bags?

No. You can stack the activity and challenge sheets on the table without bags, call bingo from the 1-Page No-Cut Caller Board, and draw the hands directly on the Countdown Clock instead of cutting them out.
